Many different films and foils and flexible packaging also require many different paper cores. So that we meet as many as your requirements as possible, we offer you a large range of paper cores in various qualities and combinations. Together with you, we are continuously developing our products for films and foils from plastic and metal, for technical papers or for flexible packaging. For the latter in particular, we offer you custom-made qualities as well as precise and constant dimensions. No matter whether soup sachet or cigarette packaging: Our application-specific paper cores are right for every packaging. And so that this remains the case, in the future as well, we rely on close cooperation with you when developing our paper cores.

Standard, solid and flexible

Standard

Are you still looking for the right paper core? Then take a look at our wide range of standard paper cores. Our paper cores are available for consumer, packaging and stretch, construction or agricultural films in all required dimensions and strengths.

Your benefits:

  • Large selection
  • Variable strengths and dimensions
Paper cores type K

Strength

Intensive winding pressure research allows us to always supply you with the best possible product. How do we do that? We optimise our paper cores on the basis of our research results – in this way our paper cores are guaranteed to meet your requirements. A result of our research: Our paper cores type K. Thanks to their special design, they counter the radial forces of wound plastic films in a particular way: They absorb the winding pressure of the films and foils and thus withstand the strains better and longer.

Your benefits:

  • Perfect paper cores for every application
  • Support when ruling out sources of errors in the winding process
  • Consistency even under maximum strains

Smooth, refined, pristine

Smooth, refined, pristine

GUK und GUP

Our spirally wound cores with smooth surface without winding gap are ideal for PE and PP films and foils and for coated papers. We fulfil another of your requirements with our GUP paper cores. These spirally wound cores are also available with release-coated surface.

Your benefits:

  • 100 % recyclable
  • Optimal price-performance ratio

Are you looking for paper cores with a seamless and smooth surface for polyester or copper foils or for use in clean rooms? Then go to the area "smooth, refined, pristine" at Paul & Co.

From release-coated to outdoor

Paper cores with PE, cellulose film or silicone surfaces

Paper cores with PE, cellulose film or silicone surfaces

With our paper cores with PE, cellulose film or silicone surface, you get products whose surfaces allow a residue-free unwinding of various films and foils and adhesive tapes. Our paper cores with PE or cellulose film surfaces are absolutely release-coated and silicone has a separating effect – both ideal requirements for residue-free unwinding.

Your benefits:

  • Residue-free unwinding
  • Total tape release
spirally wound cores B1

B1

Our type B1 spirally wound cores are conditionally release-coated and fitted with a water-repellent surface. They are particularly suitable for start-up winding of thin foils.

Your benefits:

  • Conditional tape release
  • Water-repellent surface
Paper core B2

B2

Together with you we have developed the perfect paper core for agricultural stretch films and pond liners, as well as for landfill non-wovens and geo-textiles. Our B2 paper cores can be used outside without any problems. They are simultaneously release-coated and water-repellent. How have we achieved this? By developing an emulsion that optimally prevents water penetration. At the same time, the paper core is solvent-free and acts absolutely neutral towards the reeled materials – there is now nothing to stop problem-free converting and disposal.

Your benefits:

  • Prevents water penetration
  • Solvent-free
  • Problem-free converting and disposal
